Description: To kick off the new season of Slash Course, Andrew Rivera exposes the ancient secrets of how to kill dragons! » Subscribe to NowThis Nerd: go.nowth.is/Nerd_Subscribe Game of Thrones, the HBO TV adaptation of the Song of Ice and Fire saga by George RR Martin, has taken the world by storm. It introduced dark adult fantasy drama to the masses, and sparked an unprecedented new interest in firebreathing dragons. As Game of Throne Season 8 and the Game of Thrones finale approaches, all eyes are on the Game of Thrones dragons, the adopted children of the Mad Queen Daenerys Targaryen, who have taken the world by storm. Rhaegal, Drogon, and Viseron are the last of the Targaryen dragons, but lately, they’ve been dropping like flies, adding to the list of Game of Thrones deaths. Whether it’s the spear of the Night King creating an Ice Dragon or a heavy duty scorpion, even with the help of Jon Snow, the Mother of Dragons is having a hard time keeping her children alive, but as the dragon deaths stack up and the kill count rises, there’s still plenty to fear from the fearsome beasts. But even beyond the GoT dragons, and the ASoIaF saga from GRRM, plenty of dragons have stalked the skies throughout the history of our species. From Dragonheart to Dragonslayer, Skyrim to Willow, those living in fantasy movies and TV lives in fear of an all out attack from a dragon, wyvern, drake or wyrm. Whether it’s Smaug from The Hobbit, Alduin or Vermithrax Pejorative, dragons are one of the most iconic monsters in movie and mythological history. As the Game of Thrones finale approaches, we’re still binging on every Game of Thrones trailer, clip, scene and theory in hopes of having the Game of Thrones ending explained for us, but given that GoT Season 8 is about to end, and we’re all about to experience the GoT finale, we don’t have long to wait until we learn the final fate of the dragons. #gameofthrones #got #dragons #howtokill #nowthis #nowthisnerd Get more from NowThis Nerd: » Like Us: go.nowth.is/NowNerd_Facebook » Tweet Us: go.nowth.is/NowNerd_Twitter » Follow Us: go.nowth.is/NowNerd_Instagram Get more from NowThis News: » Subscribe to NowThis: go.nowth.is/News_Subscribe » Like us on Facebook: go.nowth.is/News_Facebook » Tweet us on Twitter: go.nowth.is/News_Twitter » Follow us on Instagram: go.nowth.is/News_Instagram » Find us on Snapchat Discover: go.nowth.is/News_Snapchat NowThis Nerd is your one stop shop for everything from movies and TV to games and comics.
